A golden session ale with a light body and moderate bitterness. The initial sweet, hoppy finish gives way to a fragrant citrus aroma with hints of pine and lemon.

Mere Blonde 4.0%

A pale full flavoured thirst quenching golden ale with a light bitterness and a prominent citrus hop aroma, The malt undertones in the body are complimented by a full hop flavour which gives way to a massive almost grapefruit like finish.

Duke of Lancasters 4.0%

A very traditional robust amber best bitter. Full flavoured with a noticeable blackcurrant finish from the use of bramling cross hops late in the boil.
Brewed as a commemorative ale for the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment's Freedom of the Borough Parade held in Ormskirk on the 22nd October 2011.

Ringtail 4.2%

A ruby red ale. Full bodied with a prominent bitterness and a delightful malt character. A noticeable grassy aroma with hints of marmalade and molasses.

Mug Billy 4.5%

A traditional best bitter, light amber in colour. Easy drinking with a noticeable bitterness. Made with floor malted barley and British Hedgerow hops.

Black Canon Stout 4.5%

A dark and luscious stout, full flavoured with hints of coffee and liquorice in the finish, named after the Augustine Friars who inhabited Burscough Priory in the 12^th Century.

Thorougood 5.1%

A dangerously drinkable ale. Golden in colour with a citrus finish made with English and Slovenian hops.

Sutler’s IPA 5.5%

A powerful amber coloured heavily hopped ale. A sharp lip smacking prominent bitterness gives way to a massive aroma with hints of grapefruit and other citrus fruits. A beer for the discerning hop lover.

Old Habit 6%

This spiced ale is full of winter’s seasonal flavours; a moderate bitterness gives way to a fruity spiced like finish due to the addition of cloves nutmeg and cinnamon. Deceptively strong but easy drinking, A real classic!
